The world’s biggest retailer sets up shop on Roblox with lots of brand partners
It’s like a Walmart for the metaverse—with a store in the middle. Two different lands: House of Style and Electric Island. You can collect coins as you go around and earn more by playing mini games like coin toss or ring toss. Then you can use those coins to buy items like pants, shirts, accessories, shoes and even pizza boxes (from Stranger Things) and Fitbits.
Several mini-games are sponsored by other brands. For example, Netflix's Stranger Things trivia game features Noah Schnapp, one of the stars of the show. In a Lotte London manicure challenge, you can practice painting nails like a pro. And Roller Fashion Runway has an open space where you can show off your style while cruising around on skates.
